CERCON ALL-CERAMIC CROWNS
- superior strength and esthetics ( uses zirconia framework instead of metal )
- done in 2 to 3 sessions only
- fixed and cannot be removed
- for teeth which have undergone root canal treatment

GOLD CROWNS OR BRIDGE
- Gold is the most biocompatible non-toxic material used in dentistry today. It is non-corrosive and hypo-allergenic. Gold's wear rates and coefficient of thermal expansion is very similar to enamel, and thus achieves a better natural fit. Gold margins do not break or chip even when thinned and polished. Less tooth structure is removed when preparing teeth for gold, which leaves the tooth stronger and healthier.

SELF-LIGATING BRACES
Self-ligating braces are similar to traditional orthodontic braces in their material make-up and have the same basic function. Self-ligating means that the bracket can basically tie itself to the archwire.
Treatment with self-ligating braces is faster, requires less chairtime and fewer appointments, and yields higher quality results than conventionally ligated straightwire appliances.

ODONTECTOMY (REMOVAL OF IMPACTED TEETH)
Third molars (wisdom teeth) usually come out between ages 17-21.
Valid reasons to extract wisdom teeth.
- Pericoronitis / Infection associated with a wisdom tooth.
- Complications associated with tooth decay.
- Periodontal disease (gum disease).
- Pathology (cysts, tumors) associated with a wisdom tooth.
- Risk of damage to adjacent teeth / Root resorption.
- Chronic pain or discomfort.
- Problems associated with poor tooth alignment.

LABIAL FRENECTOMY
A labial frenectomy may be needed when a frenulum is attached too high on the gums causing space between the teeth. The tissue attachment between the two teeth is removed since it can continue to push teeth apart.
